Apple Pay/Google Pay transactions declined at checkout

Fixing failed mobile wallet transactions

Symptoms:

Guests report payment failed when using Apple Pay/Google Pay at checkout.

Causes:

Card issuer declined the tokenised transaction.
Payment gateway temporarily unavailable.
App or browser not updated to support the payment intent.

Fix:

Retry with a stable internet connection.
Switch to another payment method (card/manual entry).
Clear cache or reinstall the app.

Operator Note:

The operator platform does not support direct payment transactions in app - any payment transactions will be presented via an iframe in-app with the payment provider.
